Hands-On Assignment 2

 Media and social networking plays a large role in the world we live in today especially at this day and age. Media refers to the heart of communication in relation to broadcasting, internet usage, news, printed media, etc. Social networking relates to apps, and different platforms that allow users to connect, communicate, and exchange information from one user to another. My most used social networking sites include Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat. Another one that I use that has significant importance is Linkedin. Instagram is a social networking platform used to post pictures about your daily life, or even to promote products and businesses. I personally use Instagram to share my favorite parts about my life as well as stay in contact with friends I may not see on a consistent basis. Facebook allows me to stay connected and see the lives of my family that lives in other states. Facebook and Instagram can be used to find new brands, explore new businesses, and keep updated on whats happening in the world. Linkedin is a platform I have started using more often as I am actively looking for a job in my field after graduation next semester. Linkedin allows you to create a professional profile that showcases all your abilities, interests, and experience. You can connect with fellow friends and family, previous employers, and employers you may be interested in. Linkedin is my least used app but in my opinion one of the most important to build relationships and form professional connections. I use Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat multiple times a day to keep up to date with the important people in my life. There is a lot of crazy in the world you see on the internet. It is nice to see the positive side of people doing good in the world.
