Assignment 3

     Throughout the past four days I have been monitoring my apps and understanding what apps I use the most. I already had a guess as to what my most used apps were which included TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat. TikTok is my most used app on my phone, as I usually gravitate towards that during my free time for entertainment. 

    Over the past 4 days I averaged 3 hours and 32 minutes per day just on TikTok. Pretty eye opening to how much time I am spending on my phone. Instagram was my second most used app which averaged 2 hours and 4 minutes per day. My third most used app was Snapchat which averaged 3 hours and 35 minutes per day over the past 4 days. 

    I don't have a preference in what tools I am using these platforms on because I don't find myself searching for videos or anything all that much. I wasn't surprised that my least used app was iMessage as I am a horrible texter. Youtube was also one of my least used apps as I find myself getting bored watching one particular video compared to TikTok where I can keep scrolling. I am curious as to what my times are over the weekends compared to during the week. 

    Being I work 5 days a week I am not all that surprised by my times as I don't always have time during the day to pick up my phone. I do find myself on my phone more on the weekends since I have a lot more free time. I don't see myself changing my habits of my screen time all that much. It is very interesting to see exactly how much time I am spending and what apps I am spending the most amount of time on.
